We are the Costa Rica retiree real estate experts. We know that you do not have to be wealthy to live the ?Pura Vida? lifestyle. Costa Rica is my new home and I wish to assist you in living comfortably in this land.
I moved here to enjoy the two oceans: one on the Caribbean, the other on the Pacific. These two coasts with pristine beaches of unparalleled beauty and privacy are separated by dramatic mountain ranges, and quiet valleys, with many grand rivers and breathtaking waterfalls waiting to be explored.
Retirees should strongly consider Costa Rica for an enjoyable and economical retirement experience. Our generation is living longer and living a more active life style. There is no better place than Costa Rica to enjoy your new retirement home.
The climate is moderate. In most areas neither heat nor air conditioning is necessary. This results in lower housing cost. The cost of labor is also low. Because of the climate fresh fruit and vegetables are available year round in super markets and at the farmers markets held every weekend. Small specialty shops are in abundance, and there are many North American/European style malls in the metropolitan areas.
Like many retirees from the United States, Canada and Europe I realized I wanted to enjoy the natural beauty of the country, but I also wanted to become a part of the Costa Rican Culture with its beautiful, friendly people. The cosmopolitan City of San Jose in the Central Valley and other cities such as Heredia, Escazu, San Pedro and San Ramon provide cultural activities. Furthermore, the government encourages entrepreneurs in business no matter what their nationality. You can always find a way to contribute or to start a new career.
Smaller towns are almost always built around a central park with a beautiful church at the head. From a mountain top in the Central Valley you can see many of these towns off in the distance simply by looking for the Churches? steeples. The myriad smaller towns such as Grecia where artisans sell their original artwork; Sarchi, famous for furniture made from tropical hardwoods; and, the San Carlos area known for or its agriculture, its grand Lake Arenal and the Arenal Volcano are just a few of the areas mentioned here.
All of these attributes can be found in a country about the same size as West Virginia, and in a country where the general population extends courtesy and manners to each other, as well as to total strangers. Believe me, there is a perfect property waiting for you in Costa Rica.
